Bethesda has revealed The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, giving its next Elder Scrolls game an official name. The announcement arrived on 3 November as part of the studio’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
The confirmation comes from Xbox Wire’s official name reveal and Bethesda Game Studios’ own announcement. Bethesda says development is continuing and that fans will have to wait before it is ready to share more.
The official reveal’s description also ties its teaser lore to Hammerfell. It attributes an in-universe passage to a Moth Priest serving High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell, without laying out the game’s full setting or map.
Sentinel joins Bethesda’s anniversary reveal

Xbox Wire published the reveal alongside its Bethesda Game Studios anniversary feature. The new logo makes the Sentinel title official, while the studio’s accompanying message keeps the focus on work still under way.
Bethesda has not announced a release window, launch platforms or South African pricing in this reveal. Its message that more information is still some time away is the clearest indication of what fans can expect next: another wait for a fuller presentation.
