Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade joins Xbox Game Pass on 29 October 2026, leading a second October wave that also includes Mouthwashing and The Séance of Blake Manor. The announcement gives South African Xbox and PC players a useful shortlist for the end of the month, with an important catch: the required subscription tier varies by game.

The dates and plans that matter

The official Xbox announcement lists Intergrade and Mouthwashing for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass on 29 October. Blake Manor arrives on 27 October under the same three plans.

Other announced arrivals are Sandustry on PC on 21 October, Dodo Duckie on 22 October, Scramble Knights Online on 26 October, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Terrible Lizards on 29 October, then Pit of Goblin on 3 November. Scramble Knights, Replanted and Terrible Lizards are listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, not Premium.

Why Intergrade is the headline

Square Enix’s official product description positions Intergrade as the opening part of the Final Fantasy VII remake project, centred on Cloud’s arrival in Midgar and the conflict between Avalanche and Shinra. It combines real-time movement and attacks with command-based decisions, rather than simply reproducing the original game’s combat.

Intergrade also includes the INTERmission adventure starring Yuffie Kisaragi, who infiltrates Midgar in pursuit of Shinra’s materia. If you have been waiting to try this version, the subscription arrival is a fresh way in. The 29 October date is its Game Pass addition, not the first release of the game itself.

Two very different kinds of mystery

For Halloween, publisher CRITICAL REFLEX confirms Mouthwashing reaches Xbox on 29 October. Wrong Organ’s psychological horror follows five crew members stranded aboard the freighter Tulpar, where dwindling supplies and a fractured shared history make the situation increasingly uncomfortable. The publisher reports more than 800,000 PC copies sold; that is its sales claim, not a Game Pass player count.

Blake Manor takes a different approach. The developer and publisher’s Steam description casts you as investigator Declan Ward, looking for Evelyn Deane at a remote hotel in 1897 Ireland. Interviews, evidence in your journal, environmental clues and other characters’ schedules drive the investigation. Each action advances the clock, so being somewhere at the right moment matters.

Check your SA account before subscribing

Use the catalogue in your own South African Xbox account to confirm the game, device and plan you intend to use. Xbox’s global announcement includes cloud designations, but those labels alone do not establish South African cloud availability. This article does not assume cloud access or quote an unverified rand subscription price.

There is also a deadline for the outgoing library: Deep Rock Galactic and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are among the games leaving on 31 October. Football Manager 26 and its Console Edition leave on 10 November. Check the full official list if you are midway through a game.
