Marvel has released a new Avengers: Doomsday promo, bringing another short look at its next superhero crossover ahead of the film’s December cinema launch. The latest upload arrived on Marvel Entertainment’s official YouTube channel on 25 October, South African time.

This is a short promotional spot, not a newly announced full-length second trailer. Marvel’s message is simple: “Stand together.” Watch the official upload below.

The official Disney film page describes heroes from three universes being drawn into a collision with an enormous threat. Anthony and Joe Russo direct, while Robert Downey Jr. returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the role of Doctor Doom.

The listed ensemble includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Florence Pugh, Paul Rudd, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.

South African cinema plans

The 18 December date in Marvel’s video is the date promoted by its US campaign. It should not automatically be read as a confirmed South African opening date.

Nu Metro has an official South African listing for Avengers: Doomsday, with a cinema selector for local bookings. Check your selected venue for its actual dates, formats and session availability; a national movie listing does not guarantee the same shows at every cinema.

Disney’s US page still lists the film as not yet rated, while Nu Metro’s local classification field is marked TBC. A final South African age rating has not been confirmed on that listing.
